In 1900s Vienna, Max Liebermann, a medical student and protege of Sigmund Freud, assists Detective Reinhardt as he investigates a series of disturbing murders. Moving through the city’s grand cafes and opera houses, the pair bring together police work and psychological insight to examine crimes unsettling the elegant world around them.
