Talon is the lone survivor of the Blackbloods, a race wiped out by killers who destroyed her family. Determined to find those responsible, she travels to the edge of civilisation in pursuit of answers and revenge. Along the way, Talon discovers she has supernatural powers, but to reach her goal she must learn what they are and how to control them.
