After a turbulent exit from the Chicago police force, Jim starts over in a small Florida town. Shot and then wrongfully accused by his ex-captain of having an affair with the captain’s wife, he leaves the city behind with a payout and joins the state police. In his new home, the former big-city cop brings his instincts and experience to local criminal investigations.
