In 1980s Washington, D.C., at the height of the Cold War, Elizabeth and Philip Jennings live in the suburbs as a seemingly ordinary American married couple. In reality, they are Soviet KGB officers working undercover while maintaining their carefully built identities. Complicating their double life is their neighbor, Stan Beeman, an FBI counterintelligence agent.
