Intergalactic warrior Star Butterfly comes to Earth and settles in with the Diazes, a Mexican-American family. While adjusting to life in high school, she keeps facing villains from across the universe, many of them drawn to the extremely powerful wand she carries. Star fights to protect it, even as the mysterious object continues to confuse her.
