Johnny Rock, the aging lead singer of New York City’s legendary early-’90s band The Heathens, is broke, restless, and desperate to reclaim his glory days. When he learns he has a talented daughter who wants to reunite his old band and take over as its frontwoman, he gets an unexpected shot at relevance as a songwriter for a brash young singer who idolizes his early work.
