Backpacking couple Melissa and Josh stumble into Schmigadoon, a magical town where everyone behaves as if they are living inside a classic 1940s musical. Surrounded by singing and dancing townspeople, they soon learn they are trapped there and can only leave by finding true love, forcing them to question the relationship they believed was already secure.
