In the 1860s Old West, trail boss Gil Favor leads communal cattle drives with the help of his trusted foreman, Rowdy Yates, and a crew of drovers. As they move cattle across rugged frontier country, the work brings them into contact with new people, difficult choices, and the unpredictable dangers of the trail, where each drive carries its own share of adventure and drama.
