Twenty-nine-year-old Patrick (Jonathan Groff) chases a career as a video-game designer while looking for Mr. Right in San Francisco in Season 1 of this HBO dramedy from creator Michael Lannan. Life is equally complicated for Patrick’s best friends, including college buddy Agustín (Frankie J. Alvarez), an aspiring artist with an independent streak who takes a big step by moving in with his boyfriend (O-T Fagbenle), and Dom (Murray Bartlett), a 39-year-old waiter who dreams of opening up his own restaurant, but has trouble finding the courage - and the cash - to make it happen, though his luck could change after meeting a local florist (Scott Bakula) with the right connections.
