In 1950s and ’60s Milwaukee, Laverne DeFazio and Shirley Feeney face everyday misadventures as single women making their own way. Best friends, roommates, and complete opposites, they work side by side at the Shotz Brewery and lean on each other at home, keeping their spirits up through the ups, downs, and comic complications of life together.
