In 1874, Rebecca Clarke leaves Chicago with her 11-year-old daughter and heads for the Western Canadian frontier. When their wagon breaks down, she must accept help from local rancher Tom Moore. In the earliest days of the community that will become Hope Valley, families face the challenges of frontier life with faith, courage, and the hope of building something lasting together.
