Philip J. Fry is a late-20th-century New York City pizza delivery boy whose life changes when he is accidentally cryogenically frozen in 1999 and thawed out on New Year’s Eve 2999. A thousand years from everything he knew, Fry finds work at Planet Express, an interplanetary delivery company, and adjusts to life and work in the retro-futuristic 31st century.
