After years spent at the Cheers bar, Dr. Frasier Crane returns to his hometown of Seattle and starts a new chapter as a radio psychiatrist. His move home also brings him under the same roof as his policeman father, who was shot in the hip while on duty. As Frasier settles back into the city, his professional life on the air and his family life at home become closely intertwined.
