Set in Los Angeles at the start of the undead apocalypse, this spin-off follows new characters as the world begins to collapse into the nightmare seen in The Walking Dead. As fear spreads and ordinary life breaks down, two families are forced to band together, facing the beginning of the end and struggling to survive a disaster they do not yet fully understand.
