Four boarding school students discover a hidden supercomputer inside an abandoned factory and uncover Lyoko, a virtual world linked to a dangerous sentient artificial intelligence. With the help of Aelita, a virtual human, they travel between their school lives and Lyoko to fight XANA, a multi-agent system virus determined to extend its threat into the real world.
