Former forensic pathologist David Hunter has left his old work behind to settle into a quieter life as a doctor in the rural village of Manham. But when a woman is found dead and more bodies begin appearing in the peaceful English countryside he now calls home, David finds it increasingly difficult to stay out of the case as local police race to uncover the truth.
