In 1941 Belfast, Northern Ireland, German air raid bombings throw daily life into danger and uncertainty. Young Tom Hall and his group of misfit friends become determined to protect Buster, a baby elephant caught in the chaos of wartime. As the bombings continue, the children fight to save the animal from the threat surrounding their city.
