In July 1972, Lt. Steve Shepard goes missing in action in Vietnam and is presumed dead. Fifteen years later, the soldier known as White Ghost is still alive, living in hiding deep in the jungles of communist Vietnam. When the U.S. Army learns he has survived, it sends a black ops team to bring him home, but the mission is complicated by a leader who wants him dead.
