Detective Sergeant Mark Dixon is determined to live on the right side of the law, unlike his father. But the same violent streak that drives him also threatens to define him, making it harder for him to be the good cop he wants to be. As Dixon struggles to control his vicious nature, his sense of duty comes into conflict with the darker impulses he cannot easily escape.
