Sam Witwicky tries to step away from the Autobots and return to an ordinary life, leaving the battles of the Transformers behind him. But his attempt at normalcy is shattered when his mind becomes filled with cryptic symbols. As the Decepticons close in and make him their target, Sam is pulled back into the conflict he hoped to escape.
