In a small town in the Deep South, a redneck con artist poses as a preacher while using his new position to operate a moonshine distillery. His scheme soon draws trouble from the people around him, as clashes with local residents threaten to expose what he is really doing. Meanwhile, a determined federal agent closes in, intent on shutting the illegal operation down.
