A teenage girl spends the summer in Stillwater, Minnesota, after moving there with her father. Isolated in a new town, she connects with two misfit kids who are also on the outside looking in. Together, they begin digging into a hidden local secret and try to help a restless ghost find closure, even as a darker presence seems to grow beneath the surface.
