In 1943, as World War II rages across Yugoslavia, a British major turns to an unlikely group for a mission few are expected to survive. Recruited from among convicted master criminals, the men are offered a dangerous role in an Allied operation deep in enemy territory, where their skills may prove as valuable as their willingness to risk everything.
