Trevor, an industrial lathe operator, has not slept in a year, and the strain is beginning to distort his sense of reality. As unsettling incidents occur both at work and at home, he grows increasingly unsure of his own sanity. When a strange man appears to be following him everywhere, Trevor becomes even more disturbed, especially because no one else seems to notice the man at all.
