In New York City, four humanoid turtles rise from the sewers after being trained in Ninjutsu by their mentor. As a gang of teenage ninjas threatens the city under the command of Shredder, a mysterious Japanese martial artist, the turtles must learn to act as a true team and use their unusual skills to confront the Foot Clan.
