In Metropolis, Clark Kent works as a reporter while living with the truth of who he really is: Superman, a hero shaped by both his Kryptonian origins and his human upbringing. As he tries to reconcile those two parts of himself, his belief in truth, justice and the American way is tested by a world that increasingly sees those ideals as old-fashioned.
