Janina Duszejko, an elderly woman living alone in the Klodzko Valley, finds herself surrounded by a series of mysterious crimes. As fear and uncertainty spread through the area, she becomes convinced she understands who, or what, is behind the murders. But with no one willing to believe her, Janina is left to stand by her unsettling theory on her own.
