In the lead-up to the 1956 Olympic Games, a group of missionaries is called on to help a fledgling Australian basketball team prepare for its first ever Olympic appearance. As the players work toward competing on the world stage, their effort becomes part of a larger hope: bringing together a nation still coming to terms with the aftermath of war.
