In a frozen future, a failed experiment meant to counter global warming has wiped out nearly all life on Earth. The remaining survivors live aboard the Snowpiercer, a train powered by a perpetual-motion engine as it travels endlessly around the globe. Within its cars, a harsh class system takes shape, dividing the passengers who depend on the train for survival.
