After a violent attack leaves her blind, Ellen Ashland shuts herself away from the outside world and tries to recover in isolation. As she adjusts to her new reality, fear begins to take hold: Ellen becomes convinced that the person who assaulted her has returned. Unable to make others believe what she senses, she spirals into paranoia as the threat seems to hide in plain sight.
