In the Deep South, an aging voodoo priestess dies, leaving her arrogant son Willis Daniels convinced he should inherit her place as leader. When Lisa, the priestess’s adopted apprentice, is chosen instead, Willis turns to revenge. He revives the African prince Blacula, expecting to use the vampire for his own purposes, but the power he has awakened soon proves far beyond his control.
