After a break-in, Scott and Mara try to protect their home by installing a deluxe security system. Wanting their new nanny to be able to manage the house, they give her all the pass codes. But the access they meant as a safeguard becomes a threat when she uses her laptop to control the smart-home system and torment the couple from inside their own connected home.
