A reporter, a cameraman, and a group of petty thieves find themselves stranded together on a boat far out at sea. With no easy way back to safety, their uneasy situation turns deadly when a 50-foot prehistoric megalodon closes in. Forced to rely on one another, the mismatched survivors must put their differences aside and work together if they hope to make it out alive.
