Manny the moody mammoth, Sid the motor-mouthed sloth and Diego the crafty saber-toothed tiger face a changing world when life suddenly heats up around them. After Sid tries to adopt three dinosaur eggs, their real mother abducts him and takes him to an underground lost world. To bring him home, his friends must follow him into a strange new place filled with mighty, none-too-friendly dinosaurs.
