After an extinction event wipes out humanity, a teenage girl grows up in an underground facility under the care of a robot known as Mother, built to help repopulate the earth. Their isolated life is shaped by trust, routine and a singular bond, until the arrival of a mysterious stranger brings alarming news and threatens everything the girl has been taught to believe.
