Inspired by true events, Hotel Rwanda follows Paul Rusesabagina, a hotel manager in 1990s Rwanda, as genocide devastates the country and more than a million Tutsis are killed while much of the world looks away. As Hutu militia violence spreads, Paul turns his hotel into a refuge, sheltering over a thousand Tutsi refugees in a desperate effort to save their lives.
