Young daredevil Ernie, his sister Julia, and his best friend Max accidentally set a time machine in motion and are sent 65 million years into the past. Stranded in the age of dinosaurs, the three kids encounter Tyra, a T-rex who takes them in, and her rambunctious young son, Dodger, as they try to make sense of their unexpected trip through time.
