In 1600s Aland, Finland, 16-year-old Anna lives in a village where women are accused of witchcraft. Based on the historical witch hunts that took place on the islands, the film follows Anna within a community shaped by suspicion, accusation, and the dangers faced by women when fear turns toward them.
