After his wife is murdered by street punks, a pacifistic New York City architect is pushed into a life he never expected. Consumed by grief and anger, he begins prowling the city streets after dark, confronting would-be muggers and killing in self-defense. As his vengeance turns him into a one-man vigilante squad, the nights grow increasingly dangerous.
