After comic artist Adam responds to Internet trolls, his life takes a disturbing turn. He begins suffering episodes of sleep paralysis, followed by increasingly sinister events he documents in a series of tweets. As the occurrences grow more malevolent, Adam comes to believe he is being haunted by the ghost of a dead boy named David, a presence that may be trying to kill him.
