Recovering from an abusive relationship, Joy joins a friend’s therapy group for an isolated weekend retreat in the mountains. Led by a doctor whose methods are experimental, the group is pushed to face painful memories and test its emotional limits. As the retreat grows more threatening, they must confront both the monsters of their past and a monstrous entity closing in.
