In 18th century France, the Marquise de Merteuil turns to her former lover, the Vicomte de Valmont, with a calculated request: seduce the future wife of another man from her past. In exchange, she promises Valmont one last night with her. What begins as a coldly arranged game of desire and revenge soon proves harder to control than either of them expects.
