Circus proprietor Matt Masters takes his show on a European tour, hoping to bring his performers to new audiences. But the ambitious trip is soon troubled by a series of setbacks and disasters that threaten the circus. At the same time, Matt searches for Lili, the mother of his adopted daughter, who vanished years earlier, leaving him caught between the past and the family he has tried to hold together.
