First-time novelist Fenton Dillane is stuck with writer’s block and heads back to New York City without warning. Back home, his sharp, cynical outlook is tested as he faces the family he left behind, reconnects with his bohemian parents, and crosses paths with his engaged ex-girlfriend. As old tensions resurface, Fenton is forced to confront lingering childhood fears and the messy pull of the past.
