In 1970s San Diego, Ron Burgundy is the city’s top-rated local TV anchorman, comfortable in his place as the leading face of the news. His position is challenged when ambitious reporter Veronica Corningstone joins the station and becomes his co-anchor, forcing Ron to adjust as a new colleague threatens the world he has long dominated.
