After a pet baby alligator is flushed down a toilet, it survives unnoticed in the city sewers. Twelve years later, a steady diet of discarded laboratory animals injected with growth hormones has turned it into a massive predator. When the creature escapes the sewers and begins attacking people, a police officer and a big-game hunter set out to stop it.
