After drifting in hypersleep for 57 years, Ellen Ripley returns to Earth as the sole survivor of the Nostromo’s deadly encounter with a monstrous Alien. Her account is met with skepticism, but when contact is lost with a terraforming colony on LV-426, she agrees to go back with a team of Colonial Marines, where the nightmare she escaped is waiting again.
