After his death, a man returns to his suburban home as a white-sheeted ghost, hoping to reconnect with and console his grieving wife. But in his spectral state, he finds himself unstuck in time, unable to do more than watch as the life he knew begins to move beyond him and the woman he loves slowly slips away.
