On April 6, 1917, at the height of the First World War, two young British soldiers receive an urgent assignment. With an infantry battalion preparing to advance deep into enemy territory, they must cross hostile ground and deliver a message in time to stop a planned attack that would send 1,600 men straight into a deadly trap.
